Bill Stieber

William G. Stieber, Ph.D. is an experienced coach, consultant and trainer having worked with clients from a variety of industries. Bill has over 20 years experience in the financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and consulting fields. Dr. Stieber’s professional background includes many human resource, quality, training and organizational development assignments including a positions as Director of Corporate Management Development and Training and Organization Talent Management Manager for CIGNA Corporation. As a contract consultant with AT&T Capital Corporation, he reengineered two businesses using an Organization Systems Design (OSD) model and assisted one of the businesses in applying for an internal quality award patterned after the Malcolm Baldrige Award.
He has a Ph.D. in Psychoeducational Processes (Adult and Organizational Development) from Temple University, an MBA from LaSalle University, and a BS from Pennsylvania State University. Bill has held adjunct positions with Thomas Jefferson University, New York University, Philadelphia University, and LaSalle University. Bill most recently has been associated with Penn State at their graduate campus in Malvern and undergraduate program at Abington. He holds a SCP-SHRM designation and a PMP designation from the Project Management Institute. He is also a certified MBTI facilitator.
He is the author of the book “Teaming for Improvement” and has written a number of articles on leadership, teams and change management. He recently self-published his book " The Final Score-Aligning Melody, Harmony and Rhythm in Your Business"
Bill’s clients in his private consulting practice more recently have been in the healthcare arena. Bill is a member of the American Society of Talent Management and the Society of Human Resource Management. He currently is VP of Certification for his local SEPA-SHRM chapter.
He has taught a variety of courses for Walden University over the last five years including Talent Management, Performance Management, Organizational Effectiveness and Strategic Human Resource Management. He recently served as a SME for the design of a competency based approach and course on Organizational Effectiveness.
