Dr. Jacobs brings knowledge of health and physical education from industry and education. He has been working in this field since 1977. Prior to coming to Walden University, Dr. Jacobs has worked at LeTourneau University, Dr. Jacobs was an Assistant Professor of Health and Physical Education and the Intramural Director at Louisiana College in Pineville, La. Dr. Jacobs has also taught at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches in both the Health Science and Activity programs. Before teaching, Dr. Jacobs was a Fitness Director and manager at the Court Club in Nacogdoches. He also has taught high school in Nacogdoches. Dr. Jacobs has been a Minister of Education and Recreation, taught and directed Adult Sunday School for more than 20 years, and served on the board of the American Heart Association, One Way Ministry, and Mission Assist Team.
