Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
Dr. Veletta L. Ogaz is a contributing faculty with the MSN NP program in the School of Nursing. While she has only been with Walden since 2019, she began her teaching career back in 2009 and has taught in both undergraduate, masters and doctorate levels within schools of nursing.
She began caring for patients in 1990 while serving in the U. S. Army as a medic and then a licensed practical nurse. She received her BSN from University of Texas, Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. She obtained her MSN from California State University, Fullerton. Her family nurse practitioner certificate was completed at the University of California, Irvine. She completed her PhD in Nursing at Azusa Pacific University in May 2017. Dr. Ogaz currently does practice as an FNP in private practice taking care patients in a cardiology specialty.
