Tracey Wiese is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner certified in both Family Practice and Psychiatric Mental Health. She holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from Frontier Nursing University, where she attended as a Jonas Scholar. She has been working with at risk/vulnerable youth and families since 2006 and is currently the owner of Full Spectrum Health, a clinic in Anchorage, Alaska with two departments, Mental Health Outpatient Community Services, as well as a medical/mental health/social services clinic that serves the LGBTQ+ community. Prior to doing work in the outpatient setting, Dr. Wiese specialized as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner and also in Child Abuse Medicine. Her work in forensics on the front lines of child abuse and interpersonal violence has informed the trauma informed foundation for her work as a mental and physical healthcare provider. She has a passion for educating, and her doctoral capstone was the creation of an evidenced based program aimed at increasing competency among primary care providers in recognizing and reporting child maltreatment. She provides trauma informed psychotropic medication management and other mental health supportive services. In addition, she provides medical services related to gender/sexuality affirming healthcare as well as those clients pursuing an FASD diagnosis. Dr. Wiese also consults with and provides education and services to various organizations in the Anchorage area regarding integrating trauma informed, evidenced based, sensitive approaches to at risk populations, LGBTQ sensitivity and competency and a variety of other topics. Dr. Wiese has worked as a medical trainer and lecturer for multiple organizations around the state of Alaska, and nationally. She is an active advocate for social justice issues in her home community, especially those involving the LGBTQ+ community. In her free time, she enjoys traveling the world, hiking and spending time with her family.
