Dr. Tom Woodruff’s formal training is organizational leadership. Over the course of 30+ years, Dr. Woodruff served in senior leadership positions in banks, closely-held companies, and non-profit organizations. Industries included airlines, banks, distribution, education, manufacturing, publishing, radio, and real estate. Leadership positions included President/CEO, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Strategy Officer. In addition, Dr. Woodruff served on the board of directors for more than 20 organizations. Dr. Woodruff started teaching graduate courses online in 2002, joined Walden as Contributing Faculty in 2010, and now serves as Sr. Contributing Faculty teaching in the MBA program.
