Toby Turner

Dr. Toby Turner is an educator and nurse practitioner in private practice, owner of a health care company. She has over fifteen years of teaching experience, most of which at the graduate level, and is currently in her eighth year teaching every term, as contributing faculty at Walden University. She has served in policy and leadership positions including senior staff for the American Nurses Association, National Rural Health Association, Center on Aging University of Missouri-Kansas City, surveyor for the Joint Commission, and multiple practice roles. Her current primary areas of research interests are health policy and inter-professional practice. Her primary areas of research interests are inter-professional practice and health policy. She is a retired nurse officer, Captain, US Naval Reserves.
