I received a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Tennessee Knoxville with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction and a specialization in Early Childhood K-3. The University of Tennessee Knoxville is also where I obtained a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction. In 2008, I received a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix. The topic of my dissertation was the relationship that coping strategies and stress perception had on the academic performance of children. I have been in education for many years with accomplishments such as teaching grades K-5 as a teacher for gifted children and in the classroom as a regular classroom teacher. Since 2008, I have been a contributing faculty member for Walden’s Masters Early Childhood Studies, Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Studies, EdS/EdD Early Childhood Education, Bachelor’s Child Development, Master’s Tempo-Subject Matter Expert (SME), Tempo Faculty Orientation (TFO) Facilitator, New Faculty Orientation (NFO) Facilitator, Dissertation Committee Member- Content Expert, and Fellowship Coach.
