Tammy Evans

Dr. Tammy Evans-Colquitt have extensive management and leadership experience in the corporate and nonprofit sectors. Dr. Evans-Colquitt have obtained a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration, specializing in Nonprofit Management and Leadership. Also she earned three Master of Science degrees in Nonprofit Management degree (MNM), a Public Administration degree (MPA), and an Executive Master of Business Administration (eMBA) degree.

Dr. Evans-Colquitt bring over 20 years of on-the-ground community nonprofit experience and leadership. Dr. Evans-Colquitt was the founder and Chief Leadership Officer of a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization to address the marketability of low-income individuals, welfare-to-work, and women of domestic violence by providing vocational education, job-readiness training, coaching, and employment placement. Additionally, she partnered with law enforcement agencies and organizations funded by the New Jersey Prison System to provide training and education to reduce the recidivism rate of incarcerated individuals. After servicing more than 18 years and over 20,000 individuals from the community, the program closed in 2018.

As a result of Dr. Evans-Colquitt's community service, she received numerous awards and accolades from local, state, and national organizations, such as the
Philadelphia Association of Black Journalist, New Jersey Women in the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (WIN) Legacy Award, and the Association of Black Women Lawyers, to name a few.
