B.S. Business Administration (BSBA)

Graduate of Midlands Technical College (Community College) where he received his A. B. in Business and Liberty University where he received his B. S. in Business Management. He was conferred a M. A. from Liberty University in Human Services with a specialization in Business Management. He also completed studies at Liberty University in Human Resource Management, management at Webster University, and Grand Canyon University in Industrial Organization Psychology. He holds certifications in Arbitration and Mediation, is an Equal Employment Opportunity Practitioner, and has the SHRM-CP (Certified Professional) certification. Mr. Hudson was a manager in Information Technology and Human Resources for the Federal Government prior to his retirement in 2009. In 2011 – 2012 he served as the Director of Human Resources South Carolina Governor’s Office of Executive Policy and Programs. Mr. Hudson is also the owner and general manager of Management Outsourcing Group, LLC specializing in management consulting and training. He has been teaching at different universities since 2009 in the areas of Business Management, Human Resource Management, Business Communications, Ethics, Organizational Behavior and Leadership. He is also a retired arbitrator with the 11th Judicial Circuit Court for Youthful Offender Cases and is a former Program Advisory Board Member with SouthEastern Institute. Currently he is a member of the Board of Directors, CL Seven, Inc. (Non-profit Corporation serving senior citizens and the disabled) and former member of the Faculty Advisory Board at Grand Canyon University, currently a member of Student Veterans Association – Walden University and former School of Management Curriculum and Academic Policy Committee Walden University. He served as the Vice Commander of Post 130 (South Carolina) of the American Legion in 2022 - 2023. He is Service Officer for the American Legion (National Certification) advising (and advocating) Veterans on benefits. He was elected as the Commander of Post 130 for the year July 2023 - June 2024. His awards include Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society, The NAACP Roy Wilkins Renown Service Award, Department of the Army Equal Opportunity Advisor of the Year Award, Outstanding Alumni Award (Midlands Technical College) and the Kentucky Colonel Award, as well as numerous military awards. His publications in peer reviewed journals are numerous and cover research topics of business, management and teaching strategies. He contracted with organizations in consulting, evaluator for college credit, course redesign, and peer review on journals. He has taught at the university level since 2009 and currently holds the position of Senior Contributing Faculty at Walden University and Associate Adjunct Professor at Grand Canyon University.
