Dr. Latcham completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska in 2020, and her Post-Masters degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Creighton University in 2018. Prior to her pursuit of obtaining her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree, she completed her Masters in Nursing through the University of Nebraska in the Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2008, along with her Bachelors of Nursing from the University of Nebraska in 2004. In 1986, she obtained her Diploma degree in Nursing from St. Josephs Mercy School of Nursing in conjunction with Briar Cliff College in Sioux City, Ia. She has well over 30 years of experience in nursing working as an RN in various settings. Through her career as a Nurse Practitioner, she has worked over 10 years in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, and Family Practice settings. Her psychiatric experience has been within a Psychiatric Inpatient unit along with outpatient experience. She currently is employed in a large teaching hospital as a Psychiatric Hospitalist. Her current position with Walden University is Adjunct Faculty for Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing program.
