Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA)

Stephen L. Meigs received his doctorate in health administration from the University of Phoenix in January 2015. He is a contributing faculty member in the Walden University Master of Healthcare Administration (Competency Based) program. Dr. Meigs also serves as a chair/committee member in the Doctor of Healthcare Administration program. Professionally, Dr. Meigs has extensive experience in healthcare operations and held several executive leadership/ management positions. He has worked as an independent consultant guiding organizations through strategic planning, leadership development, and organizational leadership evaluation initiatives. His research and publication focus has been the adoption of electronic health record technology in office-based physician practices. Dr. Meigs is board-certified in healthcare administration and is a Life Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
