Dr. Stacian Nwaukwa is certified as an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB). She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree and a post-graduate Teaching in Nursing and Health Professions Certificate from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She also holds a Master of Science in Nursing degree (MSN) in Nursing Management and Organizational Leadership from Post University.

Dr Nwaukwa has over 25 years of experience as a Registered Nurse/Clinical leader, and over 4 years in Advanced Practice as a primary care nurse practitioner and nurse educator. Her professional background includes clinical practice as a home visiting and primary care nurse practitioner, as well as leadership roles in managed care, clinical quality improvement, and care management. Her areas of teaching experience include registered nurse entry-level education and adult-gerontology nurse practitioners, with a focus on preparing advanced practice nurses for clinical excellence.
