Master of Public Health (MPH)
Dr. Morrell has been with Walden since December 2000, serving multiple roles in teaching, mentoring, and program leadership in the School of Health Sciences. Dr. Morrell has a background in environmental health/toxicology. As contributing faculty and core faculty, she has taught graduate courses in environmental health, introductory public health, skills for online success, public health practicum, public health biology, and molecular and genetic epidemiology. She has enjoyed mentoring numerous master’s thesis and doctoral dissertation committees over the years and has taught various residencies for doctoral students.
Dr. Morrell has spent much of her time at Walden in academic leadership. In her time as the Master of Public Health Practicum Coordinator, Dr. Morrell had the honor and distinction of developing the first known practicum for a fully online Master of Public Health program. She has also served as the Master of Public Health interim program director and currently serves as the Master of Public Health program coordinator.
