Sarah Ross
Dr. Sarah Ross received her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at Capella University in March 2022. Dr. Ross is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-Michigan, 6401011852, effective 12/2012) and holds a Certification in Advance Alcohol and Drug Counseling (CAADC-Michigan, C-03654, effective 1/2024). She currently serves as Contributing Faculty for the School of Counseling, in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences program, at Walden University and has served in this role since January 2025. She has taught Individual and Family Development Across the Lifespan, Human Sexuality, Family, Couple, and Child Counseling, Dependency and Addictions, Supervision Management in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Residency I & II, Practicum, and Internship A/B at another university since January 2022. Professionally, Dr. Ross continues to work as a counselor in the role of contractual therapist. She has also worked in the mental health and substance use disorder field since 2009 in capacities that include: home-based therapist, contractual therapist, medication management assessment, crisis screener, ER psychiatric assessment, EAP clinical care manager, clinical services supervisor, and account manager-behavioral health. She has a number of presentations and a publication related to mental health and wellness.
