Sarah Perkins is a modern psychoanalyst and licensed clinical social worker in private practice in Northern New Jersey. She has taught in the MSW program at Rutgers University. She has also taught and has assisted teaching at modern psychoanalytic institutes in New Jersey. Her clinical focus is on chronic trauma and on helping families impacted by autism diagnosis. Her main form of intervention is on forming a relationship in the treatment room. She has twenty years of clinical experience and less than three years of teaching experience. Her major accomplishments have been in watching her patients recover from major life setbacks.
