Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
Sarah DeLong has 20 years of health care experience. She received her Associate's in Nursing from Miami University in 2001. She went on to receive her Bachelors in Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and completed her Masters in Nursing at the University of Cincinnati. She obtained her Family Practice Nurse Practitioner certification through AANP in 2014. Her DNP was awarded to her in 2019 from Frontier Nursing University. Her research included improving preventive medicine using USPSTF guidelines in an urgent care setting. She has practiced family practice for 6 years and has also spent time in several Urgent Care settings. She has served as adjunct faculty teaching a variety of courses for a local brick and mortal university as well as teaching graduate courses for Walden University for the past few years. She enjoys teaching students and helping them improve their assessment and diagnostic skills. She has been published for her work on Code Pink which is a detailed way to run a neonatal resuscitation. She has also presented at a national conference.
