Rose Onyekwe

Dr. Onyekwe earned her doctoral degree from Walden University, her Master of Science degree in Nursing Education at California State University Dominguez Hills, and her post Master of Science as a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from California State University, Long Beach with prescriptive authority. She has been a nurse for the past 22 years. Her past experiences includes psychiatric work in a private psychiatric hospital, Neuro. experience, med-surg experience, acute dialysis experience, and acute respiratory experience. Her advanced practice experience includes teaching Mental Health at both a Community College and University, practicing at Keck –USC adult and geriatric inpatient unit. She is proud and grateful to be in a profession that offers hope to individuals at their most vulnerable moment.
