This professional nurse practitioner has earned a Masters degree in nursing and a Doctorate of Philosophy in nursing education. Beginning in 2002 this professional has worked as a critical nurse, a pulmonary nurse practitioner and currently as a cardiology nurse practitioner with a specialization caring for patients who suffer with heart failure. This educator has been on nursing faculty at two different brick and mortar undergraduate universities. In addition this educator has taught nurse practitioner student for two nationally recognized schools, one being Walden University. The current role teaching for Walden University is as a clinical faculty instructor for the adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner program.
