Nicole A. Jones received her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Mercer
University in August of 2015. She has a master’s degree in Agency and Community
Counseling from Xavier University of Ohio and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Tuskegee University. Dr. Jones currently services as a contributing faculty member at Walden University. She currently provides clinical mental health services as a consultant and business owner for various clinical mental health companies. She has worked as the Director of Teaching and Learning Resource Center for Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. She has also provided consultative clinical mental health practices for The Brody School of Medicine and health sciences standardized patient training program in Greenville, North Carolina. Dr. Jones has served as an Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University, College of Education teaching graduate courses in the clinical mental health program. Dr. Jones has presented at national and state conferences. She is an active member of the American Psychological Association, American Counseling Association and National Board of Certified Counselors credentialed as an Approved Clinical supervisor, Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor. Dr. Jones is licensed in six states to provide clinical mental health services. Her research interest includes Ethical Telemental health practices, clinically and culturally inclusive assessment practices and holistic approaches to clinical mental health tehniques.
