Nick Weatherton received his PharmD from Shenandoah University in 2011. He completed a post graduate clinical pharmacy residency and subsequently went on to be clinical faculty at Rosalind Franklin University College of Pharmacy. Nick went on to obtain board certification in pharmacotherapy (BCPS), ambulatory care (BCACP), and geriatrics (BCGP). Nick has extensive clinical experience taking care of patients in a federal ambulatory care setting. His primary foci and passions are management of diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia and anticoagulation. Nick also has research interests in pharmacy informatics and renal dosing of medications. Nick joined Walden in 2018 and looks forward to working with students in the nurse practitioner programs.
