Dr. Houston was born and raised in Montana. She grew up riding three wheelers, exploring with her dog and horse while learning to play in a variety of different sports. Dr. Natasha Houston received her bachelors degree in Organizational Communications from MSU-B. During this time she also joined the Army as a Combat Medic. After her time was completed in the Army, she moved to Washington state to receive a masters degree in Social Work in 98. She worked for Child Protective Services for many years as a CPS investigator. After about 8 years Dr. Houston finished a doctoral degree in Educational Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. She worked for the Veterans Administration for three years before going back on Active Duty in the Navy as a LCSW. She started her employment at Walden University in 2016.
