Dr. Michelle Gonzalez is a contributing faculty member in the department of special education in the Richard W. Riley College of Education at Walden University and an Assistant Professor in the College of Education at William Paterson University where she teaches in the Special Education and Literacy Programs. She holds degrees and state certifications in Special Education, Elementary Education, and Reading. Dr. Gonzalez was an early childhood special education teacher for many years. She has published journal articles and presented on the topics of Universal Design for Learning and technology integration in the Early Childhood classroom, literacy best practices, and dyslexia.
