Doctor of Education (EdD)
Michelle Brown serves as the Associate Director, Progress and Completion Initiatives, within Walden's Center for Research Quality. In this role, she supports the progress of Walden’s doctoral students, particularly students in programs with knowledge area modules (KAMs). In addition, Michelle works on other initiatives within the Center related to capstone committee member training and doctoral program completion. Previously, Michelle served as a University Research Reviewer (URR) Coordinator in the Riley College. She obtained her doctorate in Educational Leadership from the Joint Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi and Kingsville. Her undergraduate work was completed at Penn State University, while her master’s degree is from Baylor University. She has served as a program director and associate professor for a doctoral program in educational leadership, statistical analyst for government agencies, and has several years of K-12 teaching experience in both Pennsylvania and Texas.
