Michael Gavino is a professor who is passionate about online education. He graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Arts in Arts and Humanities and a Master of Arts in Communication. Since graduating, he has run several businesses of his own, including a physical fitness firm, an ad agency, and several production companies. Furthermore, he has been active in many creative endeavors. He have acted in several independent films, written a couple of award-winning scripts and several movie reviews for LA’s The Place magazine, and even produced some projects. He has also taught various classes at Barry University, Broward College (formally Broward Community College), and Palm Beach Community College. He can honestly state that his education has helped him succeed at all these endeavors. His interests include exercise, movies and television, writing and, of course, teaching. He truly enjoyed his time as a traditional classroom professor. Unfortunately, the unpredictable schedule of his business interests forced him to stop teaching. Thankfully, he found the online teaching world and has been teaching online ever since.
