Dr. Melody Agbisit is a counselor, educator, and social entrepreneur. She has over 20+ years of experience in the helping profession in administrative, clinical, teaching, and research roles. She began her work as an assistant coordinator for a non-profit mentorship program assisting at-risk youth in 1999. As a clinician, she is currently working in private practice, but has experience in school, higher education, hospital, and agency settings. Additionally, Dr. Agbisit was appointed by the Governor in 2020 to serve on the Virgnia Asian Advisory Board as the Health and Mental Health Committee Chair. At Walden University, Dr. Agbisit teaches for the School of Counseling's Clinical Mental Health Program.
