Dr. Meaghan Fitzgerald holds a Doctor of Social Work in Clinical Practice and Leadership and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Tennessee. Her research interests include disordered eating, abuse, and trauma in youth. She worked as a medical, psychiatric, and school social worker before working in both solo and group private practices. In her clinical practice, she saw children, teens, and young adults struggling with anger, anxiety, depression, ADHD, adjustment and mood disorders, behavior problems, and eating disorders. She also worked with families to improve communication, clarify boundaries, and implement behavior modification techniques. Dr. Fitzgerald brings her enthusiasm and wide array of social work experience spanning 10 years to the classroom in her role as an instructor.
