Master of Social Work (MSW)
Dr. Mavis Major has been a master level social work practitioner since 1986. Dr. Major holds degrees from Oakwood College, (now Oakwood University), San Diego State University and Walden University. In addition, Dr. Major is licensed as a clinical social worker in both California and Nevada and is certified by the Commission for Case Managers as a medical case manager. Dr. Major is a practitioner/academician and believes in the importance of staying active in the field of social work in the practice area, bringing current practice modalities to the classroom.
