Dr. Marshall A. George received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy, and The University of Texas Health-Science Center at San Antonio Pharmacotherapy Education and Research Center. He is a practicing pharmacy clinician, and the Pharmacist-In-Charge of a small surgical hospital in the Austin, Texas, area. His area of expertise includes all aspects of drug therapy management, including topics such as pharmacokinetics, pharmacotherapy, pharmacology, and disease-state management; as well as, health disparities, health policy, advocacy, and a myriad of other topics. Dr. George has been teaching intermittently for approximately 6 years both in and out of the classroom. His role at Walden will be geared toward preparing future nursing professionals, enrolled with Walden's School of Nursing, to efficaciously manage medications for their patients.
