Marie Larcara

Dr. Larcara is a professional educator with over 15 years of experience and teaches in the M.S. Ed. program at Walden University. She holds a New York State certification in secondary English education (7-12) and has a master's in education with a focus in distance education and business writing and communication. She holds an Ed.D in Teacher Leadership and was the co-director of the Western New York Writing Project. Her research includes distance education, course design and development, teacher leadership, and the impact of technology on teaching and learning. She has held leadership and consulting positions in program design, delivery and management, learning design, faculty training, writing to learn, and often presents on topics around quality education in traditional and innovative spaces. Marie currently also teaches English at the high school level.
