Dr. Marianne Borja has an EdD from Temple University; MS from Cornell University; and BS from College Misericordia. She pursued additional graduate studies at New York University, Marywood University, Syracuse University, and Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Borja is a registered dietitian, but most of her career has been in higher education teaching health promotion, nutrition, and dietetics to undergraduate and graduate students, and mentoring graduate students' research. At Walden University, she has served on several doctoral committees as chair and second member in the Riley College of Education and Leadership, and she has taught EDUC 8090, Doctoral Study Intensive and EDUC 8081, Completing the Prospective. Dr.Borja has published in peer reviewed journals and given professional presentations. Her research interests are in adult education, college teaching, health care, health promotion, and nutrition.
