I have been with Walden since 1988. My teaching career began 10 years before. My part-time position at Walden was simultaneously with my full-time tenured Associate Professor at Rider University at Rider University, Lawrenceville, NJ, as faculty and coordinator of the MA in Human Services Administration until my retirement in 2005. I also held Associate Professor positions at the University of Louisville in -KY and Sangamon State University in IL.
Prior to my academic experience, I was employed in the State of Florida for 8 years, first in the Legislative Research Bureau and later in the Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services.
I lived in Argentina in the mid-1960s as a Fulbright Fellow and attended the Universidad de San Carlos in Guatemala in the early 1960s. I have travelled throughout western Europe, the Baltics, the Balkans, and St. Petersburg, Russia. Recent trips include China and Tibet, Canada, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil. Future travel plans will include several national parks.
My Microsoft Pro 4 always is with me during travel. I maintain contact with student submissions at all times.
Ballroom dance is a more recent activity. I take lessons and participate in social dance events several times a week. What a delightful experience to learn and exercise at the same time.
