Marc Lyncheski was born in Pensacola, FL, but grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. He earned a B.S. in Psychology at Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. Soon after, Marc moved to Milwaukee, WI and earned an M.A. in Communications/Advertising from Marquette University, tending bar and playing professional soccer in my spare time. After graduating from Marquette, he packed up his bags and moved west to Phoenix, where he completed his MBA through the University of Phoenix in 2000.
Marc Lyncheski has held several communications, marketing and advertising related positions in the past 12 years. He is currently the Director of Marketing + Communications for Laguna College of Art + Design. He also served as the Vice President of Marketing for a performing arts non-profit, called OC Music & Dance, Director of Marketing for Dick's Sporting Goods, the country's largest (by volume) sporting goods retailer. Prior to working at Dick's, Marc worked at PETsMART, Inc., the world's largest pet retailer, where he held a variety of positions a four year period. His final position there was Associate Creative Director, focusing primarily on brand perception, consistency and visual implementation, i.e., signage, decor, etc. Also during his tenure at PETsMART, he was the Marketing Manager for National Events and Promotions, Director or Services Marketing and Director of Special Media. It was demanding work, but at least the employees could bring our four-legged friends into work anytime they wanted!
In his spare time, Marc plays soccer with my two daughters, plays golf, practices yoga and Tae Kwon Do (he has a first degree black belt) and is also an actor and professional stand up comic, performing at local and national clubs.
