Dr. Nichols graduated in May 2012 in Counselor Education & Supervision. From there she took a position as an Assistant Professor at the University of Montana (UM) in Missoula starting in August 2012. She worked there, leading the Global Youth Development program until 2018 (when it was ended UM) and school counseling specialty until July 2019 when she joined the University of Wyoming on the main Laramie campus. Dr. Nichols has worked as a higher education faculty for approximately 11 years overall, and in May of 2022, she began working for Walden as a contributing faculty member. Her time at Walden has invested in teaching the distance Career Counseling course twice, which is a specific interest and expertise of Dr. Nichols in her work.
