Linda Ottley
Dr. Linda Ottley has been a contributing faculty member at Walden University since 2014. She received her Ph.D. from the University of New Mexico, her Post-Master's FNP Certificate from University of Massachusetts Boston, her MSN (and Adult NP) from Texas A&M Corpus Christi and her BSN from Catholic University of America. Dr. Ottley has been a nurse practitioner for over 29 years and has over 36 years of experience in nursing. Dr. Ottley is certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her experience as a nurse practitioner includes geriatrics, women’s health, primary care, urology and tele-health.
Dr. Ottley currently works in urology and tele-health primary care.
Her research interests include prostate cancer treatment decision-making, health literacy, social justice, ethnography, health inequities and health care inequities.
Her professional affiliations include the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing and the National League for Nursing. She was also a 2012-2014 Jonas Veterans Scholar.
