Linda Battle
Dr. Linda M. Battle has recently joined Walden as core faculty for the RN-BSN program. She is the lead faculty for population health and global health. Her research focus is primary prevention of HIV/AIDS specifically in communities of color. She also has an interest in the reduction of health disparities. Dr. Battle has been a Registered Nurse for over 26 years. As a staff nurse her specialty was Maternal - Child health. In recent years she changed her focus to public health. She is active in the National Black Nurses Association and is the immediate past president of the Metroplex (Dallas) Black Nurses Association. She is a saught after speaker on issues affecting the African American Population.
