Dr. Springer started his career in health care in the United States Navy as a hospital corpsman from 2000-2007. Upon separating from the military he began working in clinical affairs and research for an In Vitro diagnostics manufacturer in Indianapolis Indiana. While in Indiana he earned a Bachelors in Health Sciences and a Masters in Clinical Research Administration from Touro University. In 2010 he served as an administrative director for a small community hospital in Minnesota, while there he earned his Doctorate in Health Care Administration from Capella University. In 2014 he transitioned to the director of performance improvement and laboratory operations at a health system in Maine before transitioning to the Director of Clinical Laboratory Medicine for a Invitro Diagnostics point-of-care device manufacturer in Indianapolis, IN. Currently Dr. Springer runs a small consulting firm and works as the director of laboratory services at a community hospital in northwest Ohio. He also serves as an associate editor for several medical, pathology and biomedical journals.
