Kim Kaczmarowski
Kim Kaczmarowski received her Ph.D. in Social Work from Walden University in February 2023. She serves as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Master of Social Work program in the College of Social and Behavioral Health, School of Social Work. She has taught Human Behavior in the Social Environment, Social Work Practice with Individuals, Families, Groups, Organizations, and Communities, Social Welfare Policy, and Human Services Internship at other colleges and universities. Dr. Kaczmarowski worked as a professional social worker for over 10 years in mental health and medical settings. She is an Advanced Practice Social Worker (WI) and Licensed Graduate Social Worker (MN). Her research has focused on undocumented childhood arrivals and DACA recipients’ experiences in accessing employment and higher education, as well as understanding perceptions of belonging for this population. She continues to be involved in community efforts to advocate for more equitable immigration policy.
