Kierra C. Oliver, Ph.D., LPC-S, LCMHC, NCC, CLC serves as an adjunct professor in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Walden University. Her formal field of study was Rehabilitation Counseling. She has two years of teaching experience, six years of clinical experience, and one year of supervision experience. Dr. Oliver's areas of expertise include mental health in underrepresented populations. Awards and recognitions she has received include: Claflin University’s 40 under 40 Outstanding Leaders Award, Langston University Doctoral Fellow 2023-2024, Palmetto Youth Academy’s Girls Rock Award, Hopkins Middle School Award of Excellence, The Issac Wilson Project Trail Blazer Award, and Pee Dee Mental Health Center Leadership in Mental Health Award. Dr. Oliver received her Ph.D. from North Carolina A&T State University and her M.A. from South Carolina State University.
