Kathleen Penzes
Dr. Kathleen M. Penzes received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) at the University of San Francisco in 2013. Her thesis focused on the creation of a checklist to position merging organizations for success. She currently serves as a Contributing Faculty member in the BSN program at Walden University. Kathleen holds a specialty certifications in Advanced Nursing Administration. Kathleen has previously taught at the Nursing Master's level at California State University, Fullerton in the area of health care economics. Kathleen has served in leadership positions for a wide variety of inpatient units and has demonstrated expertise in regulatory, compliance, and ethical practice in health care. Kathleen serves as a Practice Consultant for clinical and professional practice issues for the California Board of Registered Nursing.
