Dr. Kathleen Bazile is a contributing faculty member at Walden University's Counseling program as well as a counselor educator who is nationally board-certified and a licensed professional counselor in Georgia. As a mental health professional for the last 12 years, Dr. Bazile has made it her mission to help young women discover their true authentic selves and create a life that allows them to thrive. As a counselor educator, she is passionate about training effective and ethical counselors.
Dr. Bazile's research focus includes the areas of social media in mental health and technology in counselor education. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and the National Board of Certified Counselors. Dr. Bazile studied psychology at Florida International University and received her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Rollins College. She holds her Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from Mercer University. In her off time, she enjoys reasonably priced yoga class, partaking in Atlanta's food scene, and most of all, spending time with her three-month-old baby boy.
