Kate Steffens

Kate Steffens is the Dean of the School of Education and Professional License at Walden University. She has served in a variety of positions in her career including professor of special education, associate dean, director of assessment and accreditation, and interim vice president for academic affairs. Dr. Steffens has a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota. Her professional interests include accreditation, assessment, and accountability. Dr. Steffens has served as a national consultant guiding institutions in their assessment and accreditation efforts.
