Kari Mau

Dr. Mau received her doctorate of nursing practice degree from Arizona State University in 2008. Dr. Mau graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN with my BSN and received her master's of science (nursing) from Arizona State University in 2002. Since that time, she enjoyed clinical practice as a nurse practitioner in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She currently works as a NP in surgical oncology in a breast health center in Bluffton, SC and as well as a nursing professior. Her previous experience includes intensive care, maternal-fetal medicine, inpatient high-risk obstetrics, and care of women across the lifespan. Her research activities have included pain management in the postpartum obstetrical patient, fatigue in high-risk obstetrical patients, and postpartum mood disorders.
