Dr. Judith Lemire education programs focused on hospital and nursing leadership and management and pediatrics. Her MSN focus was pediatrics, Pediatric Clinical Specialist, and doctorate was leadership and management. Dr. Lemire has 30 years experience in the acute patient care environment with 10 in direct patient care and 20 in the Vice President of Patient Care role. She was Director of the Graduate Program in Nursing for 10 years.

At Walden University Dr. Lemire teaches financial management and human resource management in the graduate nursing program. Dr. Lemire's areas of research are childhood cognitive development, critical thinking, and quality of group decision making. She received 2 grants from the Helene Fuld Health Trust for the development of the Leadership Education Model and has presented at several universities and professional organizations such as Sigma Theta Tau.

Dr. Lemire has articles published in professional nursing journals in the areas of financial management, critical thinking, and leadership. Her areas of expertise are health care leadership and management, critical thinking, and group decision making.
