Dr. Elvin received her MSW from Widener University and Doctorate in Education from Nova Southeastern University. For 14 years, Dr. Elvin worked with families across the life span in both direct services and administrative capacities. Training and teaching new social workers have been defining features of Dr. Elvin's career. Dr. Elvin's dissertation study focused on successful retention measures utilized within area child welfare agencies.
