A brief third-person narrative describing you.
My background is somewhat like a patchwork quilt that has included beginning as a substitute teacher, remedial reading aide, teaching at the elementary, middle and secondary levels. While the next phase of my life lead me smack dab into leadership, elementary principal, state education gifted director, assist. supt for a regional office in NY (BOCES) serving five counties and superintendent of schools. Higher education experiences have been as an adjunct instructor in community colleges and universities throughout IL, MO, and NY. Most recently, I’ve served as the chair of the school of education and lastly as a dean of professional programs. Teaching and leadership full time for Walden University has really been exciting and I love it.
