Dr Burchell has been teaching IT and Security courses as well as mentoring students since 2012. Her current role is that of Academic Research Coordinator for the College of Management and Technology. She earned her MS in CIS from UoP and a PhD in Management/Information Systems Management from Walden University. Dr Burchell has 20 years of experience in the field of technology in positions such as a senior programmer/analyst, Senior DBA, and database security admin. She has also had peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.
