Joannah Bluntach

Dr. Joannah Bluntach accepted a position as a contributing faculty member for Walden Unversity in 2021. Dr. Bluntach has been a nurse since 2011 and has spent most of her nursing career practicing in an outpatient mental health clinic as psychiatric mental heal nurse practitioner (PMHNP). She continues to strive to reduce the stigma associated with mental health and provide culturally sensitive, non-judgmental, and person-centered care. She is excited to be part of the Walden team, enjoys working with people, and is passionate about education. Dr. Bluntach is a firm believer in lifelong learning. She was born and primarily raised in northern Minnesota. Dr. Bluntach earned her bachelor’s degree from the College of St. Scholastica and master’s and doctorate degrees from the University of South Alabama in 2015. Dr. Bluntach is a self-proclaimed lifelong learner who is dedicated to supporting people in whichever avenue that may present.
