Dr. Jesse L. Gates completed his undergraduate degree at The University of Virginia in Philosophy. He completed his master’s degree in elementary education while attending Syracuse University. He earned his first specialist’s degree from the University of Missouri in educational and counseling psychology and his second specialist’s degree from the University of Florida in educational leadership. Dr. Gates completed his Doctor of Education in educational leadership while at the University of Florida. He has worked as an elementary school teacher where he was honored as a Georgia teacher of the year finalist. He has worked as an instructional technology specialist, a school administrator, and serves as a professor in elementary education. He is currently an elementary school principal.
