Jennifer Nixon

Dr. Nixon received her DNP from the University of Utah. She currently serves as a contributing faculty member with Walden University in the College of Health Sciences, School of Nursing and has served in this role since April 2014. She is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Utah College of Nursing. She has been licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner since 2006. Dr. Nixon is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a primary focus in cardiology. She works at the VA Medical Center, Cardiology Department in Salt Lake City. She is an Associate of the American College of Cardiology, a member of the Heart Failure Society of America, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau, and serves as a board member for the Utah Nurse Practitioners Association.
