Dr. Janie Hill received her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Walden University as well as her MS in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in forensics. She completed her BA in Psychology at the University of Florida. Dr. Hill has been teaching Master’s level Mental Health Counseling students on-line for the past seven years. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LMHC-S) in Florida, Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Board Certified Telemental Health Counselor (BC-TMH), Certified in Crisis Interventions (CCI), Certified in Emergency Crisis Response (CECR), and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). In addition, she had been the Director of Counseling Services in a 4-year private college, worked in private practice for many years gaining vast experience in the counseling field, and currently, she is working as a Mental Health Practioner at Florida Department of Corrections helping that population with their presenting needs.
